　　Irena, from the UK, is a teacher at an international school in Chengdu. Last year, she was pregnant with her second child and has been receiving prenatal care at international clinic in Angel Hospital. At 39 weeks gestation, with a history of a scarred uterus, Irena experienced intense painful contractions late at night on December 9th. She immediately called her primary physician, Dr. Leo Yang ,an American OBGYN specialist of the Angel Hospital International Department, for help. Concurrently, the doctors of the obstetrics department, neonatology, operating room, and anesthesiology departments readied themselves for the operation. In less than 10 minutes, the baby was safely successfully delivered.
